In November when the parents were voting, we voted at TBC.  The children could vote on the snack that they would like as a special treat.  The ballots were counted and the results were PIZZA, SODA, and ICE CREAM.   We will have our special voted for snack this Monday and Tuesday.

There is a box by the lockers for the Rhode center.  We are collecting canned and non-perishable goods for them.  I think it is a wonderful idea for children to learn to GIVE during the holiday season.  If you would like to contribute something, just send it in with your child to place in the box.  THANKS!

November book orders should arrive this week.

December flyers will be placed in lockers this week.  Orders are due back by the 7^th to enable delivery before the holidays.

Fund Raiser orders were placed in lockers last week.  If there are any problems, please call me or Eileen Adderley-her number is in each order.

SHOW AND TELL ON Thursday and Friday this week.

CHRISTMAS PROGRAMS will be held next Tuesday the 11^th and Wednesday the 12^th at 10am.  Students arrive at regular time, parents and guests arrive after 9:45 PLEASE.  Sign up lists are posted on the front table.  THANKS!  Exchanged gifts may be brought into school any time.  Just label your child’s name on the FROM part and we will exchange them with another student.  Boys bring a gift for a boy.  Girls bring a gift for a girl.  Siblings may bring a gift for themselves.  Just mark their name and SIBLING on the tag.  Santa will arrive after the children’s programs.  He will pose for lots of pictures and each child may tell him their Christmas wishes.  He will hand out the gifts before we have refreshments.  Any questions, please call me.

We will be making Christmas gifts this week.  There are also several Christmas decorations and crafts that are planned.

MONDAY the class will begin with a maze to solve.  Their letter is “f”.  We will cut a Christmas tree design.  Everyone will color with green and red.  We will have our special snack.

TUESDAY the Bears will begin with a Santa maze to solve.  Their letter is “X”.  Everyone will color with red and green.  We will have our special snack today.

WEDNESDAY the students will begin with a maze to solve. Their letter is “g”.  We will cut a Santa paper.  Our Science for today will involve our esophagus, stomach, small intestine, and large intestine.  The students will assemble these parts and tape them together to see where the food goes when we eat.

THURSDAY the class will begin with a Rudolph maze to solve.  Their letter is “Y” and their shape is a circle. SHOW AND TELL TODAY!!  Everyone will share their newspapers and behavior book.

FRIDAY we will begin with a maze.  The letter is “h”.  Everyone will cut a stocking shape.  We will trace our shape paper.  Everyone will share their newspapers and b behavior book.  SHOW AND TELL TODAY!

December is always a very busy month for us.  The children work very hard on all their crafts and gifts.  Thanks so much
