THANK YOU to all the parents who helped with our parades and parties.  Their bags were filled with treats.  The snacks were delicious and the weather was wonderful both days!!  Don’t forget to check the Journal for their pictures.

THANKS to all who participated in our fund raiser.  As soon as we get the final totals, I’ll let everyone know.

October book orders arrived and have been handed out.

November book flyers will be handed out this week and are due back by Nov., 14^th.

November tuition is due now please.

Class and individual pictures will be taken on Mon and Tues this week.

This week our theme is UNDER THE SEA and our color is BLUE.  We will also vote this week.  The children will learn about our voting process in the United States .  They will vote for their favorite drink, favorite food, and favorite game—Results next week.

Tuesday the class will begin by finding the SMALL object in each row.  The color is BLUE.  We will vote and fish in our pond .Everyone will make a fish picture with their thumbs and blue paint.

WEDNESDAY the children will begin by tracing lines.  We will CUT on the lines.  Our letter is “X”.  Our Science project will be mixing colors and making new colors.

THURSDAY the students will begin by finding the SAME item in each row.  The shape to find and trace are squares.  Everyone will make an OCTOPUS to bring home.  We will share our newspapers and our behavior book.

THERE IS NO SCHOOL on Fri, Nov 9^th or Mon. Nov 10^th. Due to Veteran’s Day at South Jeff.

Our theme for the next 2 weeks will be THANKSGIVING.  We will have our annual Thanksgiving Feast on Tues the 13^th and Wed the 14^th during snack time.  The children will help with turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, rolls, cranberry sauce, milk and ice cream.  Thanksgiving break will be from Wed., Nov 21^st till Fri., Nov 23^rd.

Theme for Nov 26^th will be PENGUINS.

KAYDENCE-polka dot backpack and picture of her puppy Lexie, JIMMY-mater the toe truck, HANNAH-her blankey that her Gramma made, ABAGAIL-sponge bob back pack, CHARLIE-his back pack, MACY-stuffed itty lying in a basket-from her Grandpa’s house, MALANA-Tinkerbell backpack, NICHOLAS-Lightning McQueen backpack, ZOE-Doran backpack, KIRSTEN-V-tech computer, SKYLER-picture of Kirsten and Skyler with Super Why, JUSTIN-coloring picture, RYLIE-Care Bear, MAGGIE-Raggedy Anne Blanket, EMMA-stuffed kitty, ANNIKA-little stuffed dog, JOSHUA-stuffed bear, KANYON-dog book to give to the class to keep (THANK YOU), KYLE-Ryan Newman Race car, TAYLOR-yellow bunny named Tulip, JOSHUA-army truck, SADIE-Rugrat book, JOHNATHAN-Mr. Potato Head.
