Last week we made butter and the Bears were so surprised when they opened their jars. They had heavy cream in their jars, shook that cream, and like magic they had made butter! They spread it on bread and ate it for their snack, This week our theme is FIRE SAFETY. I hope to arrange a visit from the Adams Fire Dept, but am waiting for them to return my call. Our color is RED. OCTOBER tuition is due this week, please. Everyone received information about PICTURES in last week’s papers. If you are missing it, please let me know I have extra copies. Pictures will be taken on Monday, October 19th and Tuesday, October 20th at TBC by Deb Swiecki. She will do individual and class pictures. Siblings are also welcome for the same prices. September book orders should arrive next week. There is NO SCHOOL on Monday, Oct. 12 and Tuesday, Oct 13. South Jeff is closed for Columbus Day. Halloween parties are scheduled for Tuesday, Oct 27th and Wed., Oct 28th at 10 am... There will be lots more information next week. |
MONDAY the class will begin by finding the DIFFERENT item in each row. The Alphabet letter is “L”. The color paper is a RED one. Everyone will continue SNIPPING strips of paper and glue them onto a wolf paper. We will make a Fire Engine with hose and ladder. TUESDAY the children will begin by tracing curved lines. They are doing a super job following these lines. This is wonderful practice for learning to write. It helps their small motor skills develop. We will color with RED. Everyone will make a Fire Engine with a hose and a ladder. WEDNESDAY the students will begin by finding the DIFFERENT items. The alphabet letter is “M”. We will continue SNIPPING paper and will glue the pieces onto a whale paper. They did a wonderful job with scissor safety last week. Some are having problems holding their scissors. The fingers go in the big hole and the thumb goes into the smaller one. THURSDAY the Bears will begin by tracing circles. They will find and circle all the SQUARE items. We will color a telephone and learn about 9-1-1. Everyone will s hare their weekly readers and their behavior book. FRIDAY we will begin with a DIFFERENT paper to solve. The letter is “N”. We will SNIP and glue the pieces onto a mouse picture. The shape to find and circle is SQUARES. Everyone will practice 9-1-1 on their paper telephones. We will share our newspapers and behavior books. |
