The
Bears will decorate their class room tree to get ready for our Christmas
programs. The
programs and parties will be held on Tuesday, December 13th and
Wednesday, December 14th at 10am.
Students should arrive at regular class time.
Parents and guests should arrive after 9:45 to allow us time to get
everything ready. Snack
lists for the refreshments are posted on the front table. Exchange
gifts should be brought in by this Friday.
This will give me time to make sure everyone receives an exchanged
gift. Siblings are welcome to
receive a gift also. Just
write their name and SIBLING on the tag.
Programs will last about 15 minutes, and then Santa will arrive.
He will listen to each child’s wishes and loves to pose for
pictures. DON’T FORGET YOUR
CAMERA! He will hand out the
exchanged gifts. After he
leaves we will have refreshments. Any
questions, please call me. December
tuition is due now. |
Just
go to our web site at www.teddybearcorner.net
for a link or go to www.scholastic.com.
If your order is for gifts, let me know and I will keep everything
hidden. MONDAY
the class will begin by finding the OPPOSITES is each picture.
Our letter to trace and write is “H”.
They like to trace but not to write the letter on their own.
We are working on that. They
will cut squirrel nests. Our
rhyming word is STAR. We will
make foam trees as our craft. Everyone
will help decorate our tree and room this week.
We will write letters to Santa. TUESDAY
the Bears will begin by finding the SAME items in each row.
They will learn more about WINTER and the types of clothing we need
to wear. Everyone will make a
tree and write a letter to Santa. WEDNESDAY
the children will begin by finding the OPPOSITES.
Our letter is “I”. Everyone
will cut puppy signs. We
will work on a rhyming paper. Everyone
will make their parent’s gifts. |
FRIDAY
we will begin with an OPPOSITE paper.
Our letter is “J”. We
will cut mail items and glue them where they belong.
Everyone will work on their rhyming words.
We will make stocking ornaments; share our newspapers and our
behavior book. Teddy
Bear Corner has been selected to participate in a program with the South
Jeff Lion’s Club and the Lions SEE program at the Ira G. Ross Eye
Institute in Buffalo. Each
child would have an picture of their eyes taken.
These pictures are checked by a professional eye doctor and
results are sent only to the parents.
There is no charge. Parents
may be present during the screening. The
screening would be done during class time at TBC.
Parent permissions will be sent home this week.
Please return them as soon as possible.
Screenings will be scheduled in January.
If there are any questions, please feel free to call me at
232-2230. Thanks
so much for all you support. Cindy
