Thanks so much for all the treats for our Halloween parades and parties.  The weather even cooperated and we were able to parade outside both days.  The children loved the snacks and treats in their bags.

Our Fund Raiser ends this Thursday the 8^th.  If you have any orders, please turn them in then.  Any questions please call me.

October book orders are here and will be placed in the lockers this week.

November book flyers will be placed in lockers this week.  Orders are due by the 16^th.  Remember you may order on-line.   You will receive a $5.00 coupon and the school receives a $3.00 book.

This week our theme is FALL and our colors are blue and yellow.

MONDAY the class will begin by circling all the tools on their paper.  Our letter is “X”.  Everyone will cut on the lines.  We will color with blue and yellow.  Everyone will make a fall basket.

TUESDAY the Bears will begin by finding the PAIRS.  They will color with blue and yellow.  The letter is “Q” to trace and find.  We will make a fall basket.

WEDNESDAY the children will find all the clothing items on their paper.  Their letter is “Y”.  We will cut on the lines.  Our Science topic continues with Our Hands.  We will make a paper hand.  Everyone will match the shapes as we review them.  We will make a November picture.

THURSDAY the students will begin by matching the PAIRS.  Their letter is “R”.  We will match the shapes and color a November picture.  Everyone will share their newspapers and behavior book.

THERE IS NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY THE 9^TH OR MONDAY THE 12^TH DUE TO VETERAN’S HOLIDAY.

On November 13 and 14 we will have our annual THANKSGIVING FEAST.  The children will help prepare turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, corn, rolls, pickles, and carrot sticks.  We will have a special surprise dessert.  All month we will be learning about the Pilgrims, Indians, America, Atlantic Ocean, Plymouth Rock, etc.

Last week we had SHOW AND TELL.  The students love to bring something special to school to show to all their friends.  The items remain in their lockers until Show and Tell.  The items are then returned to their lockers to travel safely home.

SHOW AND TELL is held the first Thursday and Friday of each month.

If South Jeff is closed, TBC is also closed.

If South Jeff is delayed 2 hours, TBC is closed.
