WELCOME to TBC. Each week you will receive a newsletter letting you know what we are doing each day. Hopefully, this will help your child and you discuss what happens to them during the day. Some children love to tell their parents everything about their day, some only say NOTHING. The newsletter’s purpose is to inform the families and to help you encourage your child to discuss their day.

Our first theme is BEAR FRIENDS. Our color is BROWN. If your child has any brown clothing, please let them wear it this week. DO NOT buy anything new for our colors.

TUESDAY the children will begin with a bear maze to solve. Our color is brown to paint and color with. Each child will help mix chocolate pudding for the snack. Our craft is a paper bag bear to fold and glue.

Our games will be Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear; The Bear goes over the Mountain. We will also let each child draw a card from our basket. Each card has a picture of a bear pointing to a part of his body. The child will tell the name of the Bear's body part. Examples are elbows, ankles, neck, stomach, knees, feet, hands, etc.

WEDNESDAY the students will begin with a bear maze to solve. They will begin their Alphabet Unit with the letter “A” to trace and print. We will also begin our Cutting Unit by tearing strips of paper and gluing them onto a Bear picture. Everyone will paint and color with BROWN. We will make chocolate pudding for our snack. Our Science Unit will be making a Grizzly Bear and filling its tummy with the things it likes to eat.

THURSDAY the Bears will begin by tracing the lines from the Bears to their honey pots. Our shape is SQUARES to find and trace. Everyone will make a Bear Puzzle. We will share our newspapers and behavior books.

FRIDAY the students will begin by following the lines from the Bears to their honey pots. Our letter is “B”. We will tear strips of paper and glue them onto a fish picture. Our shape is SQUARES. We will make a Bear Puzzle for our craft. Everyone will share their newspapers and behavior books.

Please remember to send in your paper bears for the bulletin board.

Each month I ask parents to send in one snack item and one paper product to help keep our tuition prices down. This first month we need paper cups, small paper plates, paper towels, hand sanitizer, juices, copier paper, construction paper, glue sticks, any snack items-crackers, carrot sticks, cheese, cereal, grapes, etc.

Tuition is due the first of each month. Registration fee is $25.00 once a year.
