Spring has finally found us. The snow is gone—almost! Last week we had lots of fun with all the snowballs at our picnics in the snow. They loved the ice cream sundaes! This week our theme is VACATIONS and our Special Event is a Train Ride on Tues and Wed. April tuition is due now please. April book orders were sent this week end. They should be back in 1-2 weeks. MONDAY the class will begin with a dot-to-dot 1-7. Our letter is “Aa”. We will trace and write the letters and then learn about their sounds. The number is “1”. We will cut a clown puzzle. Everyone will learn how to measure. TUESDAY the children will begin by tracing the lines. This helps to develop the fine motor skills needed for printing. Our number is “3”. We will go on a train ride and even eat our snack on our train! WEDNESDAY the students will begin with a dot-to-dot 1-8. We will cut a butterfly puzzle. Our letter is “Bb” and the sounds it makes. Our Science topic is Living and Non Living. We will continue measuring. THURSDAY the children will begin by tracing lines. The color review is PURPLE. Everyone will make a train; share their newspapers and their behavior book.FRIDAY the students will begin with a dot-to-dot 1-10. The letter is “Cc” and its sound. Everyone will cut the pictures of C sounds. We will continue measuring. Our rhyming word is TRAIN. Everyone will make a train; share their newspapers and their behavior book. |
THERE IS NO SCHOOL FROM April 14-18. Classes resume at TBC on Monday, April 21st. Our theme will be dinosaurs. April 28th the theme will be dinosaurs also. We will have a Dinosaur Stampede on Tues and Wed. MAY 5 the theme is BUGS Saturday, May 10th is our annual Art Show-bake sale fund raiser at 10 am in our classrooms. There should be several demonstrators available that day-Avon, Mary Kay, Etc. We also hope to have a Bake Sale. We will need some items for our Bake Sale table. May 12 theme is Music. May 18 theme is farms May 26 theme is summer Last Thursday and Friday we had SHOW AND TELL (The first Thurs and Fri of each month).
