We are back to mud and puddles, but the snow will be back.  The children were really upset that the snow was going away.

Book order flyers were placed in lockers last week.  Any orders are due back by Tuesday the 15th.   Orders may be done on line by going to Scholastic.com.  and following the directions.  Orders may be placed in an envelope with a check payable to “Teddy Bear Corner”.

There is NO SCHOOL on Monday, November 21st because it is Martin Luther King, Jr.’s day.

January tuition is due.

Supplies needed for this month are juice, copier paper, construction paper, tissues, snack items, etc.

This week our Special Event on Tuesday and Wednesday will be our annual ANIMAL PARADE.  The students may bring in their favorite stuffed animal for our parade. 
Each child will have an opportunity to tell the class about their animal-where it came from, its name, what it would eat, etc.  Then we will parade around our classrooms and show everyone their favorite stuffed animal.

January 22nd and 23rd our Special Event will be making a GINGERBREAD BEAR.  Everyone will help mix the batter and pour it into our special Bear pan. Ms. Tina will let us borrow her oven to bake our Bear.  Usually her dog Buddy guards the oven door.  Sometimes he gets sleepy or needs to eat or drink, and then we have a problem.  Everyone will help us find the bear and eat him for our snack. 

January 2th and 30th will be our annual SLUMBER PARTY and the children may wear their pajamas and bring a blanket or sleeping bag with them.  We will play stuffed animal toss and musical sleeping bags.

MONDAY the children will begin by finding the DIFFERENT item in each row.  The letter is “o”.  Our number is “3” and our story is the Three Little Pigs.  We will cut, count, and glue bricks to numbered houses. 

Everyone will make an igloo with lots of ice blocks.

TUESDAY the Bears will begin by tracing balloons.  The number is “3” and our story will be The Three Little Pigs.  Our letter to trace is “D”. Everyone will make an Igloo and a Little Seal book.  We will have our Animal Parade.

WEDNESDAY the class will begin by finding the DIFFERENT SIZES.  Our letter is “p”.  We will count to here.  Everyone will cut pieces for a scarf.  Our Science topic is our Arm Bones.  Our Sight Words are MY BEAR.  We will have our ANIMAL PARADE.

THURSDAY the students will begin by tracing the snow pals.  Our letter is “E”.  We will practice our number “3”-tracing and counting.  Everyone will make paper mittens; share their newspaper and behavior book.

FRIDAY we will begin by finding the different sizes.  Our letter is “q”.  Everyone will review the number “3” by tracing and counting.  We will cut triangle hats.  Everyone will make paper mittens, share their newspapers and behavior books.

SHOW AND TELL was held last Thursday.  Friday’s class will have Show and Tell this week.
