November
book orders were ordered this weekend.
The books should arrive in 1-2 weeks. November
tuition due notes will be placed in lockers this week. Our
theme this week is THANKSGIVING. We
will have a Special Event on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
Everyone will help make a turkey dinner.
The children will help mash the potatoes, stir the corn, and butter
the rolls. The teachers will
eat with the students. We will
have a special dessert. MONDAY
the class will begin by finding the SAME turkeys in each row.
Everyone will cut and glue feathers for their turkey.
We will make Native Americans puppets.
Our letter is “A”. We
will paint pumpkin pies. Everyone
will make a beaded necklace. TUESDAY
the Bears will begin by following the line to help the turkeys find their
corn. Everyone will color with
orange. We will make a piece
of pumpkin pie and Native Americans to bring home. |
WEDNESDAY
the children will begin with the SAME letter pairs.
Our letter is “B”. Everyone
will cut books and glue them in the library.
We will have our Thanksgiving Feast. THURSDAY
the Cubs will begin with a maze to help the turkey find his dressing.
Everyone will trace the pie circles.
We will make Pilgrim puppets. Everyone
will share their newspapers. FRIDAY
we will begin by finding the SAME SIZE items in each row.
Our letter is “C”. Everyone
will cut triangle food to glue where it belongs.
We will make Pilgrim Puppets and share our newspapers. November
21st and 22nd our Theme will be THANKSGIVING and we
will make turkeys to bring home. There
is NO SCHOOL on the 23rd, 24th and 25th
due to THANKSGIVING holiday. November
28th our theme will be WHEELS. The
month of December our theme will be Christmas.
We will make Christmas decorations and gifts.

Our
annual Christmas Programs and parties will be held on Tuesday, December 13th
and Wednesday, December 14th at 10am.
Students should arrive at their regular class time.
Parents should not arrive until 9:45am.
The students will present a short program followed by a visit from
Santa Claus. He will invite
each child to sit on his lap and tell him their wishes.
He poses for pictures very well!
Then Santa will pass out the exchanged gifts to each child.
If you have a younger child that you wish to receive a gift from
Santa, just send it in with SIBLING on the label and the child’s name.
Each student is asked to bring in a gift to exchange valued at
$5.00. Please label your
child’s name in the FROM part and I’ll fill out the TO part.
Boys buy a boy’s gift and girls buy a girl’s gift.
A sign up list for snacks will be posted on the front table.
Refreshments will be served after Santa leaves. Any
