Thanks for all the supplies.  We really appreciate all the help.

Our September book orders have arrived and will be in the lockers this week.

Our October order is due this Wednesday, the 17^th and should be back in 2 weeks.  If any orders are for gifts, just let me know and I will give them to you as you leave so your child does not view them.

PICTURES will be taken on Monday and Tuesday this week by Deb Swiecki from Framing Moments here in Adams.

Sign-up sheets for the Halloween parades and parties are almost full. Thanks so much for all the support.  I have decorated bags for each student.  As they parade TREATERS may hand out candy to them.  WE will parade towards Main Street, traveling half way, crossing the street and returning to our class rooms.  The treat bags will be placed in lockers to go home with the child.  Everyone is welcome to join us for snacks after our parades.  The parties are planned for Tuesday the 30^th and Wednesday the 31^st at 10AM.

Our theme this week is Fire Safety and our color is RED.

MONDAY the children will begin with a Go Together sheet.  Our letter is “O”.  Last week we played Alphabet Bingo and they amazed me by knowing almost all their letters.  GREAT JOB!!  We will color with RED and everyone will make finger painted RED apples in a tree.  Everyone will learn about Johnny Appleseed and Fire Safety.  We will begin FRINGING with our scissors this week.  They have done a fantastic job with their cutting this year!  We will make applesauce for our snack.

TUESDAY the Bears will begin by finding the SHORT items in each row.  Their letter is “K” to trace and try to write.  We will make applesauce, paint and color with red, and make our crafts.  Everyone will make a fire truck and a Johnny Appleseed picture.

THURSDAY the students will begin with a SHORT paper to solve.  Their letter is “L”.  The shape is CIRCLES.  Everyone will make a fireman craft, a Johnny Appleseed craft, share their newspapers and behavior book.

FRIDAY we will begin with a Go Together paper.  The letter is “Q”.  We will fringe and glue the pieces onto a porcupine paper. Our shape is circles.  We will make a fireman craft, a Johnny Appleseed craft; share our newspapers and our behavior book.

October 22 our theme is HALLOWEEN and our color is orange.

October 29 our theme is Halloween and our color is black.

November 5 our theme is FALL and our color is BLUE.  There is NO SCHOOL on Friday, Nov.  .9^th and Monday, Nov. 12 due to Veteran’s Day Holiday.
