Everyone loved the mice games last week, especially when the cat’s away, the mice will play!

Notes for November tuition will be in lockers this week.

November book orders were ordered this week and should arrive in 1-2 weeks.

Some photos have been dropped at the Journal office and might be in their paper in the next couple of weeks.  One picture of Mrs. Muto and the Wednesday class with their glazed bowls, was published last week

This week we are learning about Thanksgiving.  Our color is BLUE.  We will have a Thanksgiving Feast on Tuesday and Wednesday.  The children will help mix the mashed potatoes, corn, and cranberry sauce.  We will also have turkey, rolls, milk, and ice cream for dessert.  Everyone will help set the tables and clean up afterwards.

MONDAY the Bears will begin with a RHYMING paper to solve.  They will cut on the lines.  Our letter is “Z” to trace and print.  Everyone will make the Mayflower ship and the Pilgrims.

TUESDAY the class will begin by finding the HOT items to circle.  They will color with BLUE.  We will make the Mayflower ship and the Pilgrims. Everyone will share our Feast.

WEDNESDAY the children will begin by finding the items that RHYME.  They will cut on the lines.  Our letter is “A”.  Everyone will share our Feast.

THURSDAY the students will begin by finding the COLD items.  Everyone will find the BIG items and the LITTLE items.  We will make Indian puppets; share our newspapers and behavior book.

FRIDAY the class will begin by finding the RHYMING items.  They will cut on the lines.  The letter is “B”.  Everyone will cut and paste the square shapes.  We will make Indian puppets; share our newspapers and our behavior book.

November 23rd the theme is Thanksgiving and there is NO SCHOOL on the 25th, 26th, and 27th due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Classes resume on November 30 with a theme of WINTER.  SHOW AND TELL will be held on Thursday, Dec. 3rd and Friday, Dec 4th.

The themes for the rest of the month of December will be CHRISTMAS.  We will make decorations and gifts.  Our annual CHRISTMAS programs and parties will be held on MONDAY, DECEMBER 7th and TUESDAY, DECEMBER 8th at 10am.  This is a change of dates to enable Santa Clause to attend all his parties this year. Students should arrive at the regular class time. Parents

and guests should arrive after 9:45am.  We will begin at 10am.  The students are learning songs and finger plays to share with their families.  Santa will arrive at the end of the programs and let each child share their wishes with him. REMEMBER YOUR CAMERAS!!!  Each student is asked to bring a gift to exchange-valued at $5.00.  Boys get a boy gift.  Girls get a girl gift. Just write FROM>>>>your child’s name.  We will fill in the TO part.  Younger siblings are invited to attend and participate in the gift exchange.  Bring a gift for the sibling and write the name on the tag with the word SIBLING!  Snack lists for the parties will be posted on the teachers’ table.  Santa loves pictures and will be available for pictures of the children before he leaves.  If you have any questions about this, please call me.
