THANK YOU to everyone who helped with the Christmas programs and parties last week.  The children did a fantastic job with their programs.  Santa was wonderful.  He did make a request for copies of any photos you took of him—if possible.  He keeps an album or two or three of them! - Full of photos of all our children.  Just drop them off with me and I’ll pass them along to him.

The snacks were delicious-thanks so much for all the goodies.

DECEMBER BOOK ORDERS are in and will be handed out this week to adults only.

DECEMBER tuition notes will be handed out this week also.

TBC resumes classes on Wednesday, January 2, 2008.

This week we are trying to finish parents’ gifts, wrapping them, and making cards, angels, etc.  Lots of busy crafts and decorations to finish before the big day.  Hopefully weather will cooperate with us and we will have school each day.

TUESDAY the children will begin by coloring a Christmas tree picture.  We will make Christmas trees with cones, icing and sprinkles. Everyone will finish their gifts, play Christmas games, and listen to special Christmas stories.

WEDNESDAY the students will begin by coloring a Santa picture.  We will make angels and Christmas Cards.

THURSDAY the children will begin by coloring a Santa picture.  Everyone will make angels and Christmas Cards.

We will also make Christmas Dust this week.  The children will mix oatmeal and glitter in sandwich bags.  The dust needs to be sprinkled in their driveways on Christmas Eve.  The reindeer smell the oatmeal and the glitter will sparkle and guide them to each home.

When classes resume SHOW AND TELL will be held on Thursday and Friday-January 3^rd and 4^th.

Each Tuesday and Wednesday during the months of January, February and March we hold Special Events.  These are special activities for winter months.  Some of the special events will be:

Making pancakes and learning about good food

Slumber party and learning about bedtime and sleep

Stone Soup and sharing what we have

Animal parades with their favorite stuffed animals

Beach parties and water safety

A birthday party for the Presidents and learning about some of the important men that have lead our country

Making a Gingerbread man

Ice cream sundaes, etc., etc.

We have a wonderful time, but just a warning.  It never fails the days for the worst winter weather are the days that we plan the slumber party and the beach party!!

I would like to say THANK You to the staff of gals who work at TBC.  They do a super job, work hard, make any craft I can come up with, love the Bears, laugh and smile, and I can’t say THANK YOU enough.  Thanks so much!
