WOW!  There are traps everywhere at Teddy Bear Corner!  The students have been very busy!  I heard bells ringing, paper rustling, and things falling all over the place when I was cleaning this weekend!  I hope they trap that Leprechaun, but Leprechauns are very smart.  We’ll have to see what happens when we enter the class rooms on Monday and Tuesday.

This week we will have our Easter Parties on Tues and Wed.  The children will make Easter baskets and color eggs.  Everyone will paint a wooden rabbit to bring home.  I think we might even have an Easter Egg hunt.

March tuition is past due.

March book orders were ordered this weekend.  The books should be back in two weeks.

Thank you so much for the super supplies this month.  We always need tissues, glue sticks, construction paper, copier paper, and snack items.  Each class drinks almost two juice cans per snack time.

There is NO SCHOOL this Friday, March 21^st or on Monday, March 24^th due to South Jeff Easter break.

MONDAY the children will begin with a dot-to-dot with numbers.  The letter is “W”.  The number is “10” and the story is This Old Man.  Everyone will cut bones and glue 10 in each dish.

TUESDAY the students will begin by finding the different item in each row.  The number is ZERO and the story is Old Mother Hubbard.  Everyone will have an Easter party with games, crafts, songs, and snacks.

WEDNESDAY the class will begin with a dot-to-dot number picture to complete.  The letter is “X”.  We will have an Easter Party.

THURSDAY the children will begin by finding the DIFFERENT item in each row.  The color review is green.  Everyone will share their newspapers and behavior book.  We will make an Easter Craft.

Each class time we will make an Art Project for our Art Show on Saturday, May 10^th.  The children will be painting, coloring, cutting, pasting, rolling, glittering, etc., etc.

SHOW AND TELL from last week continued:

Sadie-Bratz dolls, Joshua-Elmo doctor kit, Kyle-Tony Stewart race car, Dawson-big orange ball, Kanyon-goggles for four wheeling, Taylor-Baby Bitty-her baby that she loves very much, Johnathan-fishing pole game,.

Upcoming events:

March 25 theme is SPRING and our special event is a Picnic in the snow-hot dogs, chips, pickles, soda, and cookies.

March 31^st-theme is COWS and the special event is making ice cream for our snack—chocolate or strawberry syrup, sprinkles, whipped cream and of course, a cherry on the top!

April 7 theme is vacations and we will take a train ride at TBC to visit Barney, the Three Little Pigs, and a surprise visit, too.

April 14 is spring break at South Jeff-there is NO SCHOOL that week.

April 21 theme is Dinosaurs and we will hold our annual Dinosaur Stampede on Tues and Wed.

April 28 theme will also be Dinosaurs!
