Class
and Individual pictures will be taken on Monday the 17th and
Tuesday the 18th during our class time.
I have extra forms here, if needed. Adams
Fire Department will visit our Bears this week on Tuesday, the 18th
and Wednesday, the 19th at 10am.
Parents are invited to stop back and enjoy the visit also.
The Fire men will talk to the classes about Fire Safety; show them
their firemen suits and their fire truck. The children love to have the
trucks visit and they love to climb inside to check everything out.
THANK YOU to the guys who take time out of their busy lives to
visit us and help us learn about FIRE SAFETY. This
week our theme is FIRE SAFETY and our color is RED. MONDAY
the children will begin by finding the hidden pictures.
Our letter is “Q”. We
will snip papers and glue them onto a rabbit paper.
Everyone will color with RED. We
will paint Red apples on a tree. Everyone
will help make applesauce for our snack. |
TUESDAY
the Bears will begin with a MAZE to solve.
They will color with RED. Everyone
will paint apples on their trees. They
will help process apples to make applesauce. WEDNESDAY
the students will begin with Papa’s Pig Pen.
Our letter is “R”. Our
Cutting Unit begins with FRINGING strips of paper and gluing them onto a
lion paper. The Science Unit
continues with our esophagus and our stomach.
They are fascinated by their bodies.
They loved listening to their hearts.
Everyone jumped up and down and then listened again-to the FASTER
beat. THURSDAY
the class will begin with a maze to solve.
They will review their shapes.
Everyone will make a fire truck with hose, ladder and dog.
We will also make an autumn box to share at home.
Everyone will share their newspapers and behavior books. FRIDAY
we will begin with My Zoo. The
letter is “S”. We will
review our shapes. Everyone
will make an autumn box and a fire truck.
We will continue fringing with a duck paper.

HALLOWEEN
PARTIES will be held on Tuesday, October 25th and Wednesday,
October 26th at 10am. Students
should arrive at TBC at the regular class time in their costumes.
Parents are invited to walk with our parade.
We will leave our classrooms at 10am and head towards Main Street.
We will parade part way down Spring Street and then cross the road
and return to TBC on the other side of the road.
TREATERS
may pass out their treats anywhere along the streets.
I will have bags for the children to carry.
When we return to TBC, the candy bags will be placed in the
children’s lockers to take home with them.
Refreshments will be served immediately after the parade.
Parents and siblings are invited to come inside with us.
Sign up lists for both classes are posted on the front tables.
