TUESDAY the Bears will begin by coloring a picture of Clifford getting ready for the holidays.  They will make a Gingerbread house, wrap their gifts, and make their Bear Candy Canes.  Everyone will make Christmas Dust.

WEDNESDAY the class will find the two candy canes that are the SAME. They will

color Christmas eve pictures, make a Big Santa, finish their gifts, cards, and a Christmas box.

THURSDAY the students will begin by coloring a Christmas Eve picture.  They will make a BIG Santa; finish their gifts, cards and a Christmas box.

There is NO SCHOOL on Friday, December 23rd.  Classes resume on Tuesday, January 3, 2012.

Each week during the winter months, TBC has SPECIAL EVENTS on Tuesday and Wednesday.

These events are fun filled times for the children and teachers.  The children learn while they are having fun and these events help them find an outlet for all their energy.

JANUARY 2012 our SPECIAL EVENTS will be:

January 10 and 11 we will have our ANIMAL PARADE.  Each child may bring their favorite stuffed animal to TBC for the day.  We will have a BIG parade with them.  Each child will have a chance to talk about their animal.  We will discuss where they live, what they eat, how do they adapt to winter weather.

JANUARY 17th and 18th we will make PANCAKES.  Each student will help mix the batter and flip the pancakes.  We will eat pancakes for our snack.

JANUARY 24th and 25th our SPECIAL EVENT is our SLUMBER PARTIES!  Children may come to school in their pajamas and bring a sleeping bag or blanket.  We will learn about night time, animals and people that work at night, and that every living thing needs to sleep.

January 31st and February 1st our SPEICAL EVENT will be making a GINGERBREAD MAN.  The students will help mix the batter.  We will pour it in our special bear pan and put it in Miss Tina’s oven.  She has her cat Sassy and her dog Buddy watch the oven.

We wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Cindy Reardon and the staff at TBC.
