The
Bears were a very big help with our Turkey Dinner last week.
Some fixed the pickles. Some
stirred the mashed potatoes. Some
helped with the corn. Some
even helped with the cranberry sauce.
The biggest hits on the menu were the rolls and pickles.
A special THANK YOU to Olivia Wilson’s Mom for the TURKEY cookies
she sent in on Tuesday. A
special THANK YOU to Nyah Chiodi’s Mom for the chocolate chip cookies
she sent in on Wednesday. November
book orders have arrived and were sorted this weekend.
The orders will be placed in lockers this week. SHOW
AND TELL will begin on Thursday Dec. 1st and Friday Dec 2nd.
Each child may bring a special item to school and show it to the
class. We keep the special
items in the lockers until it is time for Show and Tell. If
South Jeff is closed due to winter weather, TBC is also closed. |
MONDAY
the children will begin by finding the “W”s to make a path.
Our letter is “D”. Everyone
will cut and glue the foods to a Thanksgiving table.
We will learn about the first Thanksgiving feast. We
will make a hand turkey card to bring home. TUESDAY
the Bears will begin by finding the SAME items in each row.
They will make a Thanksgiving table.

is NO SCHOOL on Wed., Nov. 23rd, Thurs., Nov. 24th
or Fri., Nov 25th due to Thanksgiving holiday. The
month of December will be spent planning our Christmas programs, making
our gifts for the parents, and completing some decorations to bring home.

The children will present a short program of Christmas songs,
skits, and poems. Santa will
arrive and listen to each child’s wishes for Christmas.
Santa will pass out the exchanged gifts to each child.
The students should bring in a gift to exchange valued at $5.00.
Please write your child’s name on the FROM part of the label.
I will fill in the TO part. Boys
buy a boy’s gift. Girls buy
a girl’s gift. Siblings may
also receive a gift from Santa. Just
write their name on the label and the word SIBLING.
Santa loves to have pictures done and will pose as long as we need
him. Refreshments will be
served after his visit. Sign
up list for snacks will be posted on the front table next week.
