The class and individual pictures that were taken last week should be back in 2-3 weeks.  They will be placed in your lockers.  If you want more prints made, just call Debbie.  She always does a GREAT job.

Book orders for October have been ordered.  They should arrive in 1-2 weeks.

Halloween parades and parties will be held next week on Tuesday, October 30^th and Wednesday, Oct. 31^st.

Children should arrive in costume at the regular class time.  We will leave our classrooms at 10am. The children will parade down Spring Street towards Main Street.  We will parade about ½ the block, cross the road, and parade on the other side of the street back to TBC.  TREATERS should spread out along our route.  Each child will have a decorated bag to collect their treats.  When we arrive back at TBC, the bags will be placed in their lockers to go home with them.  We will then have refreshments and everyone is invited back to share snacks with us.  THANKS so much for all the sign ups on our party lists. This week our theme is HALLOWEEN and our color is orange.

MONDAY we will begin with a GO TOGETHER paper to solve.  Our letter is “R”.  We will FRINGE feathers for a bird paper.  Everyone will color an orange paper.  We will paint a paper plate orange and make it into a jack-o-lantern decoration.

TUESDAY the Bears will begin by finding the LONGEST and the SHORTEST.  They will color with orange and paint a paper plate orange.  Their letter is “M”.  They are all doing very well tracing and writing their letters.

WEDNESDAY the students will begin by finding the items that GO TOGETHER.  Their letter is “S”.  WE will fringe paper for a dog picture.  Our Science topic is OUR SPINE.  Everyone will make a spine neck tie to wear.  Last week each child was able to do an experiment and learn why they need to wear a helmet to protect their brain.  They love making messes!

FRIDAY the children will begin with a go together paper.  Their letter is “T”.  We will continue FRINGING with a sun picture.  Everyone will make a witch and a black cat.  We will share our behavior book and our newspapers.

The Adams Fire Department will visit our classes on Tuesday, the 23^rd and Wednesday, the 24^th.  The fire men are wonderful.   They will show the children each part of their uniform as they put it on in front of them.  That way the child knows that there is a person underneath all those clothes.  We will also go outside to view the trucks and learn what is in all those doors.  Each child will also have an opportunity to go inside the truck.   If you see any fireman, remember to say
