Just a reminder about our winter weather:  We follow South Jeff schools.  If they are closed, so is TBC.  If they are delayed 2 hours, we are closed.   If you have any questions, please call me.

If you need my tax ID number for your taxes, please let me know.

Last week we had PANCAKES on Tuesday and they loved them.  Everyone ate at least two or three.  They smelled GREAT!  When each child flipped their pancakes, they were flying everywhere!

This week is our SLUMBER PARTY on Tuesday and Wednesday.  The children may come to school in their pajamas and bring a blanket or a sleeping bag.  We will talk about night time, sleeping, people that have to work at night and sleep during the day, and why we all need to rest and sleep.  WE will spread the blankets and sleeping bags on our rugs and play musical sleeping bags and stuffed animal toss.  They will have stories read to them while they are in their bags or blankets.

Next week on the 30^th and 31^st we will make our Gingerbread Man.  Everyone will help mix the batter and pour it into our special Gingerbread Bear pan.  We will send it to Ms. Tina’s house to bake in her oven.  Her dog Buddy and her cat Sassy will guard the oven door, until the Gingerbread Man is finished baking.  Then she will bring it to us for our snack.  Of course, last year Sassy had to go potty and left the oven unguarded for just a few minutes and that Gingerbread Man escaped.  He spread flour all over the road and came in our back door.  The children found him hiding in the toys!  We still shared him for our snacks and he was delicious!

MONDAY the children will begin with a rhyming paper to solve.  We will trace the number “3”.  Our story is the Three Little Pigs.  Everyone will cut, count and glue bricks on the pigs’ houses.  Our letter is “U”.  We will make PANCAKES for our snack.

TUESDAY the Bears will begin by matching the PAIRS.  The number is “4” and the story is our Four Seasons.  Everyone will learn about FRUITS.  We will make a night time picture with chalk.

WEDNESDAY the children will begin by finding the OPPOSITES.  Our letter is “V”.  Our Science will by VISION and NIGHT.  Our SIGHT WORDS will be PLAY WITH.

THURSDAY the students will begin by matching the PAIRS.  The number “4” will be practiced.  We will learn about VEGEATABLES.  Everyone will make a Sleeping Beauty picture.

FRIDAY we will begin by finding the OPPOSITES.  Our number is “3”.  We will trace the letter “W" and complete a math paper. Everyone will cut mail for the mail box and make a Sleeping Beauty picture.

We still need JUICES and copier paper, please.
