We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to the Adams Fire Department for visiting TBC last week.  They showed the Bears their firemen outfit, the fire trucks-even lifting them inside, and talked to them about being their friends.  They discussed not hiding from the firemen if there was a fire in their homes and how to STOP, DROP, and ROLL.  Each Bear received a fire hat and a bag of fire safety goodies.  The children loved their visits and made big THANK YOU signs for them.

Pictures were taken last week by Deb Swiecki.  The pictures will be here in 2 weeks.  I apologize for forgetting to add a class picture to each form.  If you are interested in a class picture, the cost is $10.00.  You can let me know or call Deb at 232-9698.  She also keeps the negatives of each photo.  If you decide to order extras, just call her.

October book orders were e filed last week and should arrive soon.

This week our theme is HALLOWEEN.  Our annual Halloween parties and parades will be on Tuesday and Wednesday.  Our parades will begin at 10am.  Hopefully the weather will cooperate so we can parade down Spring Street, cross the road and parade back on the other side.  TREATERS may stand where ever you wish to pass out your treats.  The children will make their own bags to carry.  Please feel free to come inside for refreshments after the parade.

MONDAY the class will begin by finding the items Hiding on Halloween.  Our letter is “T”.  We will begin to cut on The Lines.  Their cutting and gluing skills are wonderful.  They all use their scissor safety rules and I’m very proud of them.  We will make a ghost, a witch, land a skeleton.  Our color to color and paint is orange.

TUESDAY the children will begin by tracing the lines to the candy.  We will color and paint with orange and work on our Halloween projects.  We will have our parade and party.

THURSDAY the Bears will begin by finishing their pumpkin picture.  Everyone will finish a shape review.  We will work on a black cat and five little pumpkins.  Everyone will share their newspapers and behavior book.

FRIDAY we will begin by finishing an owl picture.  Our letter is “U”. We will cut on the lines.  Everyone will work on their black cats, pumpkins, newspapers and behavior books.

Oct. 31 our theme will be Over Our Heads and the color is pink.

Nov.7 our theme is Under Our Feet and the color is white.

There is NO SCHOOL on Thurs., Nov10th and Fri, Nov 11^th due to Veteran’s Day.

THANKS so much for all your support.  WE need juice, 5 oz. paper cups, paper towels, small paper plates, copier paper, snack items-carrot sticks, cheese, crackers, cereal, grapes, etc.
