PLEASE REMEMBER THAT ANY SNACKS BROUGHT INTO TEDDY BEAR CORNER MUST NOT CONTAIN PEANUTS, PEANUT BUTTER, OR ANY NUT PRODUCTS. WE HAVE 2 BEARS WHO ARE ALLERGIC TO PEANUTS AND NUTS. The Bears would like to THANK AMANDA MUTO for letting the class GLAZE bowls. She brought the finished bowls in on Wednesday after they were fired. They were so BEAUTIFUL and the children were so excited. They loved them! Mrs. Muto is opening a web site at: www.earthwaredesigns.com containing clay and fabric items. Her daughter Anna is a member of the four year old class. Pictures taken last week should be back in a couple of weeks. If you have any questions, please call Debbie Swiecki at Framing Moments 232-9698. HALLOWEEN PARADES and PARTIES will be held on Tuesday, October 27 and Wednesday, October 28 at 10 am. Students should arrive at their regular class time and may wear their costumes to TBC. I have special treat bags for each child. Parents are welcomed to come in around 9:50 each morning to walk with their child. We will try to leave at 10 am and will walk |
down Spring Street towards Main Street. TREATERS can stop the parade whenever to hand out their TREATS to the BEARS. We will parade down the street and then cross the road and return on the other side. We love adults helping us cross the roads. The children will return to TBC and place their treat bags in their lockers to take home. They will sanitize their hands and refreshments will be served. A special THANK YOU to all the parents who signed our Snack List for the parties. Parents are invited to stay and share a snack with us. If you have any questions, please call me. October book orders should be back in a week. November flyers will be handed out this week. They are due back on November 10th. Thanks to all who are ordering on line. Each on line order gives the Bears a FREE book for the class room! MONDAY the Bears will begin by finding the OPPOSITE pictures in each row. They are doing a great job with this concept. They will continue FRINGING with their scissors. If you are helping your child at home with cutting, remember to have them place their thumb in the small hole and their fingers in the big hole. The letter is “T”and our color is BLACK. Everyone will make a witch, a pumpkin and a ghost to take home. |
TUESDAY the students will begin by finding the PAIRS in each row. We will make a witch to take home. The Halloween party starts at 10 am. WEDNESDAY the children will begin with a SMALLER concept paper. They have to find the SMALLER item in each row. Everyone will get ready for our parade and party. THURSDAY the class will begin by finding the PAIRS in each row. The shape is RECTANGLES to find and trace. Everyone will make a skeleton and a Halloween box to bring home. We will share our newspapers and behavior book. FRIDAY the students will begin by finding the BIGGER items in each row. Our letter is “U” and the shape is RECTANGLE. We will FRINGE feathers for a bird. Everyone will make a skeleton and a Halloween box. We will share our newspapers and behavior books. Thanks again. Cindy Reardon 232-2230 |
