We hope all our families had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!  The weather reminds us that winter is near.

Just a reminder if South Jeff is closed, TBC is also closed.  If South Jeff is delayed 2 hours, TBC is closed.  Any questions please call me.

Fund Raiser orders have arrived and will be placed in lockers this week.  THANKS for all the orders.  It helps to keep our tuition costs down.

November book orders have been placed and should arrive in 1-2 weeks.  December flyers will be placed in lockers next week.

CHRISTMAS programs and parties are scheduled for Tuesday, December 11th and Wednesday, December 12th at 10am each day.  Students arrive at regular class time.  Parents and guests arrive after 9:45am.  Each student needs to bring in a gift to exchange before the parties.  Boys bring a boy’s gift.  Girls bring a girl’s gift.  Gifts value is about $5.00.  Please label your child’s name on the FROM part of the

 

tag.  We will mix the gifts and Santa will hand the gifts out at the parties.  Sign up lists for snacks for the parties will be on the teachers’ table next week.  Siblings may bring a gift to exchange also.  Just put their name and SIBLING on the labels. 

MONDAY the children will begin by listening for the BEGINNING SOUND of each picture.  Their letter is “c”.  They will color with BLACK.  Everyone will cut on the lines.

TUESDAY the Bears will begin by tracing lines.  Their letter is “V”.  They will color with YELLOW.

WEDNESDAY the class will begin by finding the beginning sound.  Their letter is “d”.  They will cut on the lines.  The SIGHT WORDS are LITTLE and BIG.  We will learn about our MOUTH for SCIENCE. 

THURSDAY the students will begin by matching the leaves.  Their letter is “W”.  They will trace the oval shapes.  Everyone will share their newspapers and behavior books.

FRIDAY we will begin with beginning sounds. The letter is “e”.  We will cut triangle shapes.  Everyone will share their newspapers and behavior book.

SHOW AND TELL is next Thursday the 6th and Friday the 7th.

A special THANK YOU to Nellie Williams for sending in decorated pumpkin cookies for our Halloween party.  They were delicious!

A special THANK YOU to Karen and Larry Walters for sharing toys with the Bears.  They sent a huge box of Duplo blocks for building and a big bag of colored balls.  We love different toys at TBC!

The children will practice for their Christmas programs and work on special secret gifts the next two weeks.
