The weather has been so wonderful—warm, sunshine, and everything is turning green! Notes for April tuition were handed out last week. SHOW AND TELL is this Thursday and Friday. April book orders are in and will be given to the adults this week. May book order flyers will be in your lockers this week. They are due back by May 9th. This is the LAST BOOK ORDER for this session of TBC. REGISTRATION FORMS for the fall of 2008 for TBC are available from the front desk. If your child will be returning in the fall, please take a form, fill it out, and return it to me. MAY 10th is our ANNUAL ART SHOW-bake sale, raffle, fund raiser. The students have been working g very hard on their special projects for this show. We will have a bake sale and we are asking parents for donations for our sale. There will be several raffles available also. One of the prizes will be a certificate for $25.00 to be used for tuition at TBC in the fall of 2008. If anyone has an item they would want to donate for our raffles, please let me know. There will also be several displays from Mary Kay, |
This week we will continue our theme of Dinosaurs. We will have a DINOSAUR STAMPEDE on Tues and Wed. Students may bring their own dinosaurs to class (please label with their names) and we will have a giant dinosaur stampede. MONDAY the students will begin by finding the same dinosaurs. They will cut and fold a school bus. The letter is “Gg”. Our number is “4”. Everyone will make a big Tyrannosaurus Rex. TUESDAY the class will begin by finding the SHORT items in each row. The number is “5”. We will make a big T Rex and have our Dinosaur Stampede. WEDNESDAY the children will begin by finding how many dinosaurs there are in the picture. They will cut flowers. The letter is “Hh”. Our Science project will be making volcanoes in test tubes. THURSDAY the children will begin by finding the TALL items in each row. The color review is BLACK. Everyone will make a Stegasaurus. They will share their newspapers and behavior book. We will have Show and Tell. FRIDAY the class will begin by finding which way to go with the dinosaurs. The letter is “Ii”. We will cut heart shapes. Everyone will make a Stegasaurus, share their newspapers and behavior book. We will have Show and Tell. |
Our May WISH LIST for snack items is JUICES. We are running very low on drinks. Paper products needed are copier paper, tissues for all the allergy noses, and construction paper for all our art projects. Thanks so much for your support in this. Upcoming events: May 5 the theme is BUGS and we will have a BUG BALL on Tues and Wed. May 10th ART SHOW from 10am until 2 pm in our classrooms. May 12 theme is MUSIC and we will bring out the big box of rhythm instruments for everyone to learn to play. May 19 the theme is farms. We are arranging a visit to Old McDonald’s farm as our Spring Field trip for the Mon-Wed-Fri class-more info later. May 26 theme is SUMMER. Thanks again for all your support. Cindy Reardon 232-2230 |
