More Secrets for Parents to know by Ruth Bowdoin Courtesy is more likely to be “caught” than taught. If my child feels no one cares for him, he may care little for himself. Eighty percent of my child’s brain has developed by the time he is eight years of age. The early years are the most important because they are the formative years. My child learns by trying things and making mistakes. A child develops fears or anxieties if he is over-protected. Parents are the most important teacher any child will ever have. My child learns by seeing, feeling, hearing and doing. Learning experiences are possible in every home and in every yard. Thanks so much for all your support. Our supply cupboards are full. Our snack cupboards have a wonderful variety of snacks. Thanks again. Cindy Reardon 232-2230 |
