 SHOW AND TELL will be held this week on Thursday and Friday.  Children may bring something special from home and will be able to stand in front of the class and tell about their item.

It is very hard to believe that this week begins the month of April!!

This week our theme is COWS and our Special Event is making Ice Cream.  We will also have our Picnic in the Snow.  The children will have hot dogs, chips, pickles, and juice, and we’ll have the ice cream for desert on Tues and Wed...

MONDAY the class will begin with a dot-to-dot 1-8.  The number is ZERO.  Everyone will cut, count and paste cans to the numbered shelves.  Our sound is –AT.  We will make a special cow craft.  Everyone will learn how to milk a cow!

TUESDAY the children will begin by tracing dotted lines.  This helps them develop fine motor skills.  The number is “2” to count, trace and write.. Everyone will learn how to milk a cow and will make a special cow craft.

WEDNESDAY the students will begin with a dot-to-dot paper 1-6 to solve.  The sound is –AT. Everyone will cut puddles.

THURSDAY the children will begin by tracing lines.  The color review is BROWN.  Everyone will make an April Showers box, share their newspapers, and behavior book. 

FRIDAY the children will begin with a dot-to-dot 1-8 paper.  They will cut pets.  The sound for this week is –AT.  We will make an April box; share our newspapers and behavior book.

Upcoming events:

April 7^th theme is VACATIONS and we will take a Train Ride on Tues and Wed.  We will visit the Three Little Pigs, Barney, and some special surprises.  We’ll even eat our snack on the train.

April 14^th there is NO SCHOOL this week due to Spring Break at South Jeff.

Classes resume on April 21^st with Dinosaurs for the theme.  We will continue Dinosaurs for the week of April 28^th also.

May 5^th the theme is BUGS.

Our Art show is scheduled for Saturday May 10^th from 10am until 2pm.

May 12 theme is MUSIC and everyone will have an opportunity to play our rhythm instruments.

May 19 we will learn about FARMS.

May 26 the theme is SUMMER. 

MOVING UP day for the Tues=Thurs class will be held on Tuesday, June 10^th at 10 am in our classrooms.  Students should arrive at the regular class time.  Adults should arrive after 9:45 am.  The children will sing songs and recite nursery rhymes.  They will show how to play the rhythm instruments and dance.  Each child will receive a special certificate.  Snacks will be served after the program.

GRADUATION for the Mon, Wed, Fri classes will be held on Wednesday, June 11^th at 6:30 pm at the Six Town Meeting Hall on Church ST in Adams .  The children will sing songs, take parts in several different children’s classic stories, play the rhythm instruments, dance, etc., etc.

Diplomas will be presented to each child.  Refreshments will be served.

 Because we only have classes for ½ the month of June, the tuition for June is ½ the regular amount.
