Thanks so much for all the help with our Halloween parties and parades.  The children’s bags were stuffed with goodies.  There were lots of helpers on our parade route. We all got a bit wet on Wednesday, but we hurried.  The snack tables were full. We even had left overs the rest of the week…..and there is enough for some this week also.  THANKS AGAIN!

November’s tuition is due this week.

November’s book flyers will be placed in lockers this week and are due back by Wed, Nov 9^th.

This week our theme is Over Our Heads and our color is pink.

MONDAY the class will begin by finding the items that are different in each row.  We will continue cutting on the lines with a rocket ship paper.  Our letter is “V”.  We will paint with PINK. We will make airplanes.   We are working on sight word sounds beginning with the words I SEE A…

WEDNESDAY the students will begin by finding the DIFFERENT item in each row.  We will cut on the lines with a sport paper.  Our latter is “W”.  The Science project will be small and large intestines to complete our digestion unit.  Everyone will work on their sight words.

THURSDAY the class will begin with Above and Below to solve.  Our shape is OVAL to find and trace.  We will make an Owl puppet.  Everyone will learn about birds, share their newspapers and behavior book.

FRIDAY we will begin by finding the SAME item in each row.  Our letter is “X”.  We will cut on the lines for the animal chase.  Everyone will trace OVALS.  We will make an Owl puppet.  Everyone will learn about birds, share their newspapers and behavior books.

UPCOMING SCHEDULE:

November 14 the theme is THANKSGIVING.  We will have our annual Thanksgiving feast on Tues and Wed that week.  I will cook a turkey and the students will help make the potatoes, corn, butter rolls, and there will be a special dessert.  Everyone will help set the tables and clean up afterwards.

November 21 the theme is THANKSGIVING.  There is No School on Wed the 23^rd, Thurs the 24^th, and Fri the 25^th due to THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY.

CHRISTMAS PROGRAMS AND PARTIES are scheduled for Tuesday, December 13^th and Wednesday, December 14^th at 10am.  More about this later, but I know parents need to schedule time off early.  The program will last about 15 minutes, Santa will arrive and listen to each child’s wishes, He’ll pass out the exchanged gifts to each child, and then we will have refreshments.
